Natalie got an invite to an old buddy from daycare's 6th birthday party. The good part is it was at the AmericInn's swimming pool. The bad part is it was on dance night. I bet you can't guess which one won. There wasn't even a question as to which one she would go to. This is the third party she's attended at the pool but the first one she was somewhat comfortable with being in the pool. We can thank swimming lessons for that. She did like the warm pool (hot tub) better because she could touch the bottom. She even had me go over to see her in it and showed me that she could touch. Here's a video of her swimming. They don't wear the floaties during swimming lessons, but I wasn't in the pool, so she needed something. She choose those over a life jacket.
There is a big slide at the pool that Natalie has steered clear from in the past. Today she went down it a few times with a couple of Dads that were there. Then she saw Bridget go down by herself and of course she wouldn't be outdone by someone who is younger than her. So she went down without a Dad. But... she made sure that Natalie O. was with her every time. Natalie was more than happy to help her.
